The surroundings offer ideal conditions for walking, hiking, exploring nature, and escaping the urban rhythm. ROMAN BATHS
The Roman Baths date back to the 3rd–4th century and are among the best preserved Roman monuments in the region. They were discovered in 1978 during the construction of Hotel Tsar Samuil. Located at the foot of Mount Belasica, the baths were built near natural thermal springs used since ancient times. The complex had an advanced heating system (hypocaust), hot and cold pools, a sauna, and changing rooms. About 10 rooms covering 1,000 m² have been uncovered. Today, the site is protected, partially preserved, and can be visited right next to the hotel.
